At Silverwood Stables, we offer a full range of lesson programs for assessment riders to advanced riders who are looking to compete.
Riders 6 years and older can ride our safe and reliable school horses and ponies. All of our horseback riding activities are supervised in a fun and
safe manner.
Lessons are booked in monthly packages.
Monthly pre-payment in full required for month of lessons.
MINIMUM 24 hour notice to schedule make-up lessons.
Before your lesson, please ensure you or your child is wearing:
Comfortable long pants or breeches (leggings or jeans)
ASTM approved Riding Helmet – bike helmets are NOT suitable for horseback riding.
Boots with a minimum 1/4 inch heel
Please note: If a student arrives for a lesson at Silverwood Stables and is not dressed in appropriate riding attire, they will not be permitted to participate in Equestrian activities on the property.

Weekly Group Lessons
Students are expected to arrive thirty minutes prior to the start time of their lesson to groom and tack up their horse or pony.
Weekly group lesson, one hour in length over four weeks.
Maximum four riders in a lesson at a time.

Weekly Private Lessons
Perfect for a novice/beginner rider looking to get started in the horse world, or riders who are looking for more one-on-one saddle-time with their instructor throughout the week
One weekly private lesson, one hour in length over four weeks.
30-45 minutes of saddle-time dependent on rider skill level.
